One very grand spec project, a residential compound design/build in Santa Fe, NM brings us to where we are today (see photo gallery), as we prepare to open our doors as Style 208 in charming Fredericksburg, Texas. It was an exciting, award-winning, truly magical three-year journey inspired by adobe architecture, Native American jewelry, cowhides, Santa Fe art and fifth-generation Texan roots. Since our "Style" was a big hit, we decided to borrow the address, "208," off Camino del Norte and continue the journey; this time with a Texas Twist. That's the first chapter in this creative story.
From conception to completion, the idea to create a soft, southwest romantic home and casita in Santa Fe, New Mexico exceeded our wildest dreams, and adorning 6,000 square feet with beautiful, rustic elegant items became a wonderful treasure hunt. Gorgeous furniture pieces were curated from all around Texas and New Mexico and married together to create a soft, elevated southwest style, what we call "rustic elegant."
Our “Casa de Lavanda” was awarded Best Kitchen Design, Most Efficient by exceeding energy ratings, and Best Craftsmanship in the 2019 Haciendas Parade of Homes, a very exciting feat for us ”first-timers” and humbling at the same time.
It‘s time to celebrate!
